We’re Sam and Ash, the husband and wife team behind Club Kore.

We grew up in Kaitaia, a small town in the Far North of Aotearoa where community was simply part of life. Family, friends and familiar faces were always close.

Moving to Australia meant leaving most of that behind. We arrived ready to build a different life, but with very little support around us. We had to begin again, find our feet and create a new sense of home.

Today, we both work full-time while raising our two young girls. Club Kore is being built in the middle of that real life. Before work, after bedtime and in whatever space we can find between everything else.

Since moving to Australia, we have each lost more than 25 kilos. That journey changed our relationship with health and movement. It taught us that progress does not require a perfect routine, only a willingness to keep showing up.

Club Kore grew from missing the close community we were raised in and wanting to find like-minded people in a new place. It is our way of rebuilding that sense of connection and creating something meaningful together.
